Going out? Need temporary glowing skin, for cheap as well?
I recommend you use petroleum jelly, I personally use Vaseline which I put under my eyes going down to my cheeks.
It also acts as a barrier to keep moisture trapped, but remember any topical products should be applied BEFORE vaseline, give any products time to br absorbed before applying vaseline
Here’s things you should consider:
- It may block your pores for people with acne prone skin, so maybe avoid it if you are.
- If you have oily skin, it might make it look even greasier
- The “glowing” skin is temporary and will go after a few hours or after you wash it off
- I would avoid using it on the T zone if you have combination skin
How to apply:
Wash your hands first, use the tip of your fingers to massage a small amount of vaseline under your eyes and down to your cheeks if you want to.
My personal experience:
I have combination skin, my T zone is a tiny bit oily while the rest of my face is on the drier side. For that reason I only apply the vaseline Below my eyes and across the rest of my face downwards. I have not experienced any acne and I have been using this method for months on end. I do this every time before I go out, which is about once a day.
I applied a bit of vaseline on my forearm in an area to show how this looks like with and without vaseline in my case. (Vaseline is applied in the red box) You can see the skin is more reflective to light, and while it may look greasy, that’s just when you apply it and for a tiny bit until some of the vaseline starts to wear off initially)
