In my experience 45 in europe is not 45 in US and 45 in asia is not 45 in neither europe or US. When i was like 12 i went to an Official Nike store or something in Korea (im from europe) and in europe i had like 41 but there i had like 46-47. 44 in US might only be like 42-41 in europe. Foot size is what matters not the number.

I think shoe sizes increased drastically with new generations, height did too but only slightly.
46-47 is normal for today's kids even though they aren't that tall, some around 5'11 got this shoe size.
