*Before I list my things I think are some downsides about living in the USA, I want to say that this is a great country with great oppurtunities and is one of the best countries in the world to live in (some states/cities maybe not) And many people on this forum are not from the USA and are intrested about this country if its really that good. But still its impossible for a country to just be perfect. Every country has its flaws. I can make a list of flaws for every country if I were to live in them. But I reside in the USA so I will make this about the USA.

1. Healthcare
Unless you are rich goodluck with healtcare, Yes the rumors are true US healthcare is very expensive. Some insurances dont cover everything. And even if you ahve the money and want to go to a hospital, it can take months to wait for your appointment. Also in my opinion since the health is mostly owned by private companies I find the total healthcare system very messy, so much hospitals by different companies it can be messy to just choose the one for you.

2. Public Transportation
In big cities public transportation is normal (although ive heard not so good things about it especially the nyc metro xd) but if you are in a city that isnt apart of a metropolitian or is a city under 500k population public transportation is eithier nnon existent or is really bad. For example in my city I have about 100k people living in it and they have only one bus for like the whole city. And even that bus rides along 2 streets not even the whole city.

3. Everything is so far away
Places like a store, hospitals, parks, libraries, schools, etc tend to be far away and with the bad public transportation youll most likely need a car (Capitalism Classic 😎) Stuff like this gets very annoying like driving 30 mins to school or 20 mins to a store just pmo

4. Education System
In my personal Experience school was really bad, especially highscool. Kids would scream in class, vape, be on their phones, yell at teachers, and just not respect the educational environment. Now I understand that all of those stuff can happen in other countries and they probabaly do, but what makes the US educational system even more shitty is the fact that they teach 2-3 years behind compared to other 1st world countries in europe/asia. If you arent in a advanced class in a public school goodluck with your learning. It just feels like anything government related isnt cared about or is spent money on.

Outliers
- Private schools (obvioulsy)
- Schools in rich areas (mostly white majority areas for some reason)
- Being in a advanced program in your school (still can experience disturbance)

5. The Diversity
This is probably just my opinion, but the diversity has gotten out of control. I can understand having a couple ethnic groups like the whites, blacks, and some mexicans. But sometimes it just gets too a point. Like the country dosent need that much diversity, making it more diverse will just have the country lose its identity. Just keep it to whites, blacks, and some mexicans. I know this could seem kind of racist but like its the hard truth, stuff like this ruins the country. The diversity causes more problems and makes the country responsible for more types of people.

6. Crime
The US isnt like a somalia type of country but ive noticed that most crime happens in the big cities and their metro area. In smaller cities crime is small and its relatively safe. But the bigger the city is the more uncomfortable it is to live there and to just do normal stuff. The fact that anyone can own a GUN should alarming. Sometimes you can see a person carry it with them to a restaurant or a store. Its safe except for big cities imo.

I really like the USA but these are just some stuff id considered to be flaws in the country.

You recognize that there is a problem with foreigners not assimilating into American society (#5), but you fail to recognize that, in smaller cities, the lack of public transportation and everything being "far away" are features not bugs. Better public transportation would allow the rif raf, in large part the 'diversity' you reference, to commute to the nice parts of town. The lack of public transportation serves the interests of the people that actual pay taxes, to insulate them from the rif raf which for the most part pay very little taxes.

Insurance

Personal car

Car

Homeschool

America has always been a diverse country you retard, what are you even talking about?

The US is not a white country
It was , and it’s better to for it to be white statistically. But I don’t mind others just not too much. Personal car means personal care for it and gas and mechanic stuff if it gets broken which is more money to spend. I was homeschooled but less than 1% of students in America do it.

I have some personal ones but the mainstream ones are probably Switzerland, Monaco, Luxembourg, and Czech republic. Maybe Poland too. But it’s expensive to live there so you gotta be rich

These are issues for me personally. For majority of the people they have enough money for a car. Not everyone but a lot do. Also these are some things I’d fix if I could

The US is the wealthiest country in the history of the world, but the top 1% own almost all of that wealth. If your rich, america's great. If your working/middle class, america absolutely sucks. One can only dream of a United States where the wealth was redistributed back to the people

Your salaries are almost double sometimes triple ours in the EU with currency adjusted. For example , my equivalent job and experience would pay me well over $100 000 a year. Is cost of living that much higher , are your low six fig earners considered rich or just doing well for them selves ?

Yes, there are many jobs that have higher salaries compared to in Europe; mostly white collar tech, finance, etc jobs. However, the cost of living is so high that you end up actually making less money then you would in many EU countries, despite those EU countries having higher taxes. It's only when you start making absurd amounts of money (millions) that you end up being better off in america.

In your situation with a 100k+ job (depends on which country in europe you live in though), you would most likely be making less in the US when you factor in cost of living.

Yeah its demotivating to think that equivalent talented guys working the same job I do but living a different lifestyle , driving Porsche and M cars whilst living in a nice apartment with excess income to invest. I guess its impossible to be financially stable globally nowadays without mommy and daddy money.

I live in the UK, outside of London , cost of living is manageable. Hard to imagine the US being 2-3 times more than Europe. A grocery shop costs like £120 p/w , rent is £1000 + p/m , Car insurance £200 p/m for a decent car.

Well some of the poorer European countries like let’s say Russia for example had about a gdp per capita of 17k$ not only is there expenses cheaper but they usually have a pretty high GDP PPP per capita. But I think that only applies to Russia right now. Countries like Moldova,Albania, Kosovo, Ukraine who are on the lower end of earning money usually just have cheaper expenses too but they earn less so that balances out. Still better to live on the lower end of a European country then Africa imo

this is true, there is no american identity
The american identity lies in its immigrant communities. Look at NYC for example, if you go from the 1800s to today there have been the irish, italian, jewish, scandinavian, german, spanish. And in modern times from other parts of the world; dominican, indian, chinese, mexican, puerto rican, palestinian, russian, etc. Also african american. Back in the day, white people in america used to have culture. In metropolitan areas there used to be irish neigborhoods, italian neigborhoods, etc. But after WW2, white flight happened, and all these people moved into the suburbs. Suddenly your neigbor wasnt irish like you anymore, he was italian, and the other one jewish; therefore the original european culture was lost over time and this new white american suburbian cultureless middle class grew out of it. If the government had distributed american wealth back to the people and developed walkable cities after ww2 instead of suburbs, it would have incentivised these european immigrant neigborhoods to stay & not move away, and their culture/identity would have been way more prominent today.

However through the hypercapitalistic system where profit is prioritized over people, these immigrant communities are most often opressed, for they are working class. Lack of universal healthcare, education, sky high rent prices, car focused urban planning, etc. This leads to these people having a harder time and being poorer, and because poverty is the root of crime these communities also become crime riddled, therefore developing the "immigrant criminal bad rapist!", that the rich elite oligarchy of america then pushes forward so they can keep cutting taxes for the rich while the middle and working class all get to fight about mexican immigrants, transgender sport athletes, and more dumb shit. It's all a distraction from wealth inequality and the class struggle, a distraction created by those who want you distracted.

America could have been the greatest country OAT if they locked in from the gilded age onwards and did the right thing

I was referring mainly to how we operate.

We are functionally an empire that is trying to expand global capitalism and western interests along with extraction of resources from the global south.
