I got it done in India. They used Illizarof thing that was so barbaric, but I got used to the pain. However, it was terrible experience because they were dishonest and had terrible equipment. I wanted 3 inches but got 2 due to bone infection. I can lift weights and all but can't run for long time. Had to slow down or my calves start swelling and hurt bad. Other than that, I can't ride regular bicycles for a long time. I got mine custom made to adjust for my longer tibial length so it won't put pressure on knees. Regular bicycles are okay as long as I don't try going fast and don't do more than 1 hour or riding.
