Despite looking unaesthetic when its low and prominent, a low hyoid bone can make your neck look like fat and saggy and make your jaw appear less sharp.

On the article that i shared below, the subjects's ages ranged from 68 to 80.
They did this excercise for 4 week twice a day for 3 set with 20 rep.
You just open your jaw as fast as you can and close it again as fast as you can.

If you read the article the before resting position of hyoid bone on y axis is bigger than after. Its because they picked an origin not below the hyoid but above it. So decrase in y-position = higher hyoid bone
