Long story short I thought it was a good idea to do a 50% lactic acid peel and leaving it on for 5 minutes. I did it last week so why not? I put on a neutralized and wash it off.

After I dried my face. I've never seen such a thing. Half my neck and 2 parts on my face below my neck was burnt so badly Compared to the rest of my skin. I did this 7 hours ago and the area is still in a lot of pain even turning my head or making a facial expression. There's even water leaking out my bare skin and half my face is a bunch of dried water. I did the research and found out that thus might result in permanent scarring/hyperpigmentation the very thing I was trying to get rid of.:lul::feelswhy:
@benignice How do I reduce any further damage? I'm scare shitless
FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK

Oh my god that liquid. Wtf. You'll need to attend somewhere tbh.

What I read about peels at home:
-do not peel any skin on your face. It must fall off on its own. Avoid touching it and you most likely should apply some moisturizer in some areas to help.

You did the peel last week and you did it again yesterday lol.

If I was you I'd go somewhere but if it helps you one friend of mine had her face exactly like that (even sued the clinic) but after two months the healing process was complete and she had baby skin.

I'll try to ask for additional info in some forums I know

Did she win the lawsuit?

You've had that liquid too? I wouldn't back up with any weird coloration since i know it goes away but damn seeing your face like that must be hard. Specially since you indeed might have caused some serious damage so you can't be completely sure.

AAgain op do not peel or scaring will be permanent.

The situation is going to improve but you will suffer for at least 1 week. Remember don't peel or it's over for life.

Go to a dermatologist immediately. If you try to fix it by yourself you might ruin your skin even more.

No, never had liquids leaking through my skin, but I had that burnt texture that went away in a few days.

Go to a dermatologist, for now slather it in squalane oil and aquaphor/vaseline if you have any, wear a mask on the way to the dermatologist if the sun is out or the burn will get severely worse

good luck

You absolute fucking moron do you even know what patch testing is? It exists so idiot fuckers like you don't permanently fuck up their face to try on their $3 chemical peel they bought off the Wish app. You absolute fucking idiot. I wish I could slap you in the face right now to beat some common sense into you. Do you have any fucking idea what you've just done to yourself? I bet you don't, considering you don't care enough about yourself to see any possible side effects of EVERYTHING you put on your skin.

Its low IQ idiots like you who follow whatever advice some random transgender redditor told them online and following through without second thought. The actual state of you. Pathetic.

I did 2 sessions of chemical peel but it was with fruit acid and I had them performed by my surgeon. Never do it by yourself tbh.

Holy shit dude, your acid burns look terrible.

I would just stop all together, and possibly get treatment to prevent further damage, at your local clinic.

Go to dermatologist ASAP, son. After that, contact @Sergeant and get him to change your username to 'Zeta Descended'.

JFL at not applying the peel to a small area of your skin, first. Some people's skins are just allergic to certain chemicals man.

The affected area turned into scabs. I made sure to put vaseline on it, wear sunscreen and wore a surgical mask to work today and yesterday(for sun protection). Hopefully when it heals up I won't have permanent scars.

Once the scabs have healed over if you are left with some marks, a silicone gel might be a good option for scarring.
