Here is a better photo to judge off of, just lots of asymmetry, crossbite, and my posture makes it seem like I’m not recessed when I am because I’ve just gotten so used to holding this posture to look better.

Mild crossbite, no obvious jaw retrusion, midline very slightly off

Ik what your thinking bro and I get it’s not good roi for me, but it will still fix a lot of things im not going for “the best surgery” im going for as close to perfection as i can get and i think bimax is necessary and i intend on having many other surgeries as well, i just think a slight 4-6mm advancement and CCW rotation with a genio is the best route without leaving things unfinished.

genio honestly might not even be needed, really depends if your lower third height is bad enough where a genio will help it, but otherwise a bimax is all you probably need, but another picture with normal posture will help

My main concern comes from this being me just a year and a half ago, I’ve since ran multiple cycles and worked on posture and I just can’t believe it’s really a bone structure change, and that’s why I think I still need bimax

Just as I suspected

You adopted forward head posture to try and compensate for the recession

I know because I do the same

I think you are a bimax candidate

Would be nice if clinical photos used ordinary head posture and we had a lateral ceph with the full facial structure, including nasion.

Looks like I prejudged but notwithstanding that, outside the side profile, the asymmetry and crossbite are incredibly mild. Frontal view looks decent.

You’re right brother, I appreciate the high iq feedback, not a lot of people realize this. I think it’s just something you have to experience yourself to actually be able to identify this.

Exactly man, that’s just became my natural posture over the years there was never any actual bone structure change from the roids, specially not at my age I started at 19.

I understand that lmao, I’m getting other surgeries as well. Bimax is just necessary to fix my bite, CC rotation, narrow palate (segmental lefort) and asymmetry I know other surgeries are higher roi for me, but I’m trying to get as perfect as I possibly can be and I don’t want to leave these problems only bimax can fix.

Bruhhhhhhh irl face palm reading this literally gives me anxiety thinkin abt scenarios like this lmao some ppl r unhelpable

Surgery is for fixing failos not this delusional sentiment of striving for perfection

Ur really gonna sink atleast 2-3 years of presumedly ur prime into a surgery that will give at the absolute best a marginal increase to maybe a couple parts of ur face not to mention the money recovery stress n possibilities for complications or other problems through out the process

Like alr man doubt u will even go thru w it but enjoy the mental mastubration ig

Trimax would fix a lot of my failos and would not sink 3-4 years of my prime like 6 months max, and I’m doing well financially but I do get where you are coming from, if you scroll up on my post I posted pictures of myself a year n a half ago extremely recessed I just have better posture now my bone structure is still fucked and honestly I think my CC rotation, asymmetry and lack of forward projection is my biggest failo besides my eye area which I plan on getting done in the same procedure as my trimax

Be wary of the fact that you're risking permanent nerve damage for basically a moderate side profile change.

Your crossbite is mild enough to address with orthodontics, imo. The midline is barely off; literally imperceptible to the average person.

Yep. 100%

If you're going to have an invasive procedure with a significant time and financial investment, the benefits better far exceed the costs.

Why would I give a fuck about nerve damage? All I care about it looking better, and I also have a narrow smile which a segmental lefort would fix orthodontics wouldn’t, and then on top of that all the other problems I mentioned could be fixed as well, and not to mention I do seriously have sleep apnea but that’s not why I’m getting the surgery it doesn’t affect my quality of life and money is not a problem for me right now the cost of jaw surgery would not put me in a financial crisis at all.

Take a picture of your tooth show when smiling out of interest. Your clinical photos are pretty bad.

8 teeth smile, brutal af (more like 6 tbh) the last 2 are barely showing

A lot of people are fearing bimax now because of Timmothy but look at brae he’s recovering just fine also Timmothy had a revision, recovery really isn’t that brutal from bimax there’s a shit load of things u can do to reduce the swelling and you’ll look normal in 4 months with still some swelling but not to the point where you can’t go out in public

You really think so?

I think he is recessed enough in both jaws that it would be really good for his angularity, not to mention candid/motion, people see you from some sort of 3/4th profile almost as much as the front as well

Another underrated thing to look at, he will age much better if he has more bone mass in the lower third

Right now looking at his front his lower third looks susceptible to skin changes, it would probably hold up for future volume / collagen loss much better if the skin was stretched forward more

But again it is impossible to make a verdict without scans

Slightly narrow but within average range. A 10-12 tooth smile is one tangible benefit to be had from this whole thing imo.

Can't say I'd opt for trimax in your shoes and I think you're cavalier about the risks, but to each his own.

6 tooth smile is not average range that is a very brutal smile I have bro, as well as narrow lips, mfs will do anything but except someone’s a bimax candidate god damn, don’t get me wrong so many retards don’t need it and they think they do I’m deff not trying to praise bimax it’s so overrated, but I believe I’m a genuine good candidate after some consideration

Granted, I think the main upside for you will be a broader smile, but I don't think the overall cost-benefit analysis really makes sense here.

That being said, I totally understand the desire to optimize everything; I guess my own experience with bimax has changed the way I gauge risk vs reward.

Did you have bimax? I think I have a solid base and my main failo is my mouth and a 4-6mm advancement would just add to my overall harmony and symmetry that’s why I think I need Trimax so bad, but trust me bro this isn’t some shit I want to do but it’s the only fix, the main thing I’m scared of is the residual swelling staying for years possibly

Will do nothing to ur front which is acc what matters but okay

Also 6 months :lul: be lucky to get a consult in that amount of time jfl

Also the other things uve said like oh man I can just tell u have not done enough research n have no clue what ur talking abt

gl tho man

Yea I mean for the sake of argument maybe his photos r pretty shit but realistically I can only see it impacting his side n not to any significant extent

Also I can just tell this dude has no idea n isn’t really srs abt any of it like ‘permanent nerve damage pfhh I just wanna ascend bro’
Cmon be so fr yk
