dark circles under eyes = lack of under eye support = recessed upper maxilla and infra rims

niko you need a lefort 3 and infraorbital rim implant
why do you troll on a fucking forum meant for looksmaxing when someone comes genuinely asking for looksmaxing advice

14 year old sense of humor. this site is useless, niko would be better off on reddit atp. muh lefort 3 ghahaha so funny bro

So this is probably the worst my eye area gets and it will only get worse with time, my plan so far is:
View attachment 1993241
Apart from that I'll probably try other stuff like prp injections, every undereye area cream under the sun, sleepmaxxing and so forth

Do you guys have any other recommendations to try?

@DoctorLooksmax @herring @Gaia262 @tesseract @RealSurgerymax and others

This is the magnificent under eye area I had BEFORE fat grafting

Filler and then fat graft sounds fine because half of the fat injected initially will survive and be permanent so it's better to be sure about how it would look like

I think 80% of my injected fat survived and will be permanent. The survival rate depends on genetics, healthy lifestyle and how conservative the grafting was (if too many lipocites are injected, it is unlikety that all of them find a near blood vessel that supplies them so they survive)

The real issue is that I was forced to get fat grafting while being high bodyfat, and I do not know if the licpocites grafted in my orbitals will deflate to supply me energy while I return low bodyfat. I will keep you updated though.
Nevertheless a friend of mine underwent orbital rim fat grafting while being obese (100kilograms) then he became low bodyfat and his grafted orbitals did not change at all. He reported that doctors trasfered to orbitals the most resilient fat in his body (love handles)

this is not a proper treatment algorithm my guy

Filler is absolute normie cope/terrible idea because even if it's dissolvable it can move around below your orbit and become undissolvable also a waste of money that should go to consults with expert surgeons.

get a proper diagnosis
and that will tell you whether or not you are indicated for:

1) [soft tissue]
blepharoplasty(fat removal)
blepharoplasty (fat removal + fat grafting)
blepharoplasty (fat repositioning)
fat grafting

AND/OR

2) [skeletal augmentation]
infraorbital rim implants (custom or off shelf)

AND/OR

3) [lifting/suspension procedure]
canthoplasty
canthopexy
soof/midface lift etc

AND/OR

4) [skin procedure]
ablative laser/co2 or erbium laser
chemical peel
pigment laser
microneedling
etc

----
and to anyone saying "concealer works" pls stfu you are a poor
and for @Niko you just need one of #1 to be fine or #1 and #2 to ascend as you have exposed yourself for having very weak orbitals/recessed bones which should be fixed with implants technically

for anyone naive about eye procedures you can save this post :)

Thoughts on doing a fat grafting and an infraorbital rim implant? Have you seen any results of doing that?

I'm pretty much doing this now... Hopped on the france sederma 100% volufiline concentration after getting fillers and I'm applying it every night along with Vit K cream and a moisturizing eye cream (beaute pacifique 'paradoxe eye cream'). It has pretty much completely removed the hollowness and made my tear trough much more even, but I still have dark circles JFL.
How does "volufiline" even work?

I'm pretty sure most of my results were from filler and not volufiline..

Filler is a bad idea, even this doctor stopped doing it

I watched all that guy's videos. He is pretty knowledgeable and a very ethic doctor for sure. But you can also find some other really ethical and knowledgeable doctors on YouTube who are still filling tear troughs and disagree with some of his points.

As usual with these things it comes down to confirmation bias. You tend to seek out the stuff that fits your narrative. It's better to view it as having upsides and downsides - as almost anything in life has.

I've seen his stuff which is why I don't want filler, i prefer implant or fat graft.

On a side note my mom approves of me getting an implant if I want to, although she wouldn't have done it if she were me

At the end of the day you should do what feels right. I think the most important part is the thought process leading to your decision as well as getting an expert opinion (e.g. I had a consultancy with a plastic surgeon who was also the guy that put the filler in my tear trough).

Implants are permanent unlike filler obviously. I had a consultancy with Pagnoni and he showed me a few good results and some 'meh' results (that he thought were good) for a infra-orbital malar implants. He gave me a price quote of 15.000£.

Now, the reason I decided to go with filler instead of implants is the thing that makes implants attractive, permanence, is also what I don't like about them. Your face and body changes constantly, and as you age there is nothing guarantee that the implant will still look good. You will need multiple revisions throughout your life, and each revision carries a chance of being botched.

I would much rather do fat grafts then. They are also more permanent than fillers, but they carry a larger risk than fillers of being botched. As I said - pros and cons, you have to do what feels right in your situation.

I didn't know you need "revisions" for infraorbital implants? Why are "revisions" needed?

Implants are hard to get right - size, position etc. Most implants require a revision when they're initially placed. You pay full price for the revision as well (meaning potentially 30.000€ for an Infraorbital Malar implant with Pagnoni).

Then as you age and the soft tissue surrounding your implants change, you might need more revisions. It's impossible to predict 100% how your soft tissue changes with age. If you don't get revisions and your soft tissue keeps changing, which it will, your implant will end up looking uncanny as you get older.

For reference this has been my eye area throughout the years, it is bones and genetics, no way around it
It's not bones or lack of infraorbital fat. To me that looks like periocular discoloration which can be genetic.

Look into these genes and see if you have mutations:

  • OCA1
  • OCA2
  • TYR
  • CTLA4
  • PTPN22
  • FOXP3
Genetic periocular discolouration is more common in people with fairer skin and brighter hair and is completely to do with destruction of melanocytes or lack of melanocytes in the tissue around the orbital rim. Over time the area gets discoloured and is often confused with structural issues like poor maxillary support or a lack of infraorbital fat.

The best advice I can give is to religiously apply something like a zinc+niacinamide serum to your undereyes, like 1-2x per day for the rest of your life. Please don't listen to anyone saying to get fillers, implants or fat grafts.

I have the same issue and i saw legit recessed maxila subhumans and they still had better underete support then me i think it has to do with skin and muscle there
I THINK THE ORBITAL RIMS OR SOME SHIT BUT IF THAT MY EYES WOULD BE BULGING OUT

Looks like clear recession in the first pic he posted though. There's a very visible concave extending from the nasal bridge to the upper malar region, which creates the hollowness.

Might be autism but would volufine help?
Otherwise good luck man, “muh he looks good” yeah but this forum is about ascending further

Dark circles aren’t a failo, they’re only a failo if you’re unattractive.

infra is only option you fucking normie.

Same here, orbitals rims seem a bit risky drastic, and fillers got so many mixed opinions it's hard to get a proper answer, I want my solution to be as permanent as possible and i think im ready to take the risk honestly to at least try fillers and follow my chart unless something else pops up

jfl no.

To see wether it fixes the issue, if yes I'll dissolve it and replace with fat graft, if not I'll get implants

Just get modified fat grafts buyos +use Lipofilling agents @Niko @Prettyboy

Recessed under eye is due to a recessed lefort 3 area, it's about bones and soft tissue. Dark eye circles are because the muscles underneath are dark and there's no fat to cover it
