Dr. Bloxham just gave us an update on Verteporfin trials and it seems like we have hair follicles being regenerated after a FUT hair transplant. He used a small concertation on 3 patients and posted the results of 2 due to the other patient being outside the US. Imagine he starts using a larger concertation of Verteporfin for the next clinical trials? This has the potential to take a NW7 back to a NW1

Below are the results after 9 months of Verteporfin treatment on hair transplant scar area.

Prp might be the future, would be very easy to extract your own blood, then centrifuge that shit, put in mini fridge, and use once a week.

Wayyy to expensive, idk if im saying truth, but it seems this shit is like 100 bucks per cm

PRP isn't really effective and overpriced. It doesn't address the underlaying issue which is scalp DHT.
However with Verteporfin, if successful, we can literally take DHT resistant hairs and move them to the front. This would also heal the donor area leading to more hairs being there. Rinse and repeat.. It's huge step forward. Only thing better than this is hair cloning in vitro which is years away, another doctor in Japan has been working on it for the past 2 years.

Some labs online that source it overcharge for it. Hospitals and Uni's get this stuff for free basically. You can also get it from other countries. The only problem is that it's hard to acquire for an individual hence the price

I looked at sweden vs uk, the price diff was 600, but still keeping the same price generally.
It might be suitable for future, but not now.
About prp, not really overpriced? Can't you extract your own blood once a month, or every week, on each arm, for a couple vials? For both face and scalp?
About dht, just use finasteride

I agree, it will be suitable for the future for sure, but I'd say the near future rather than 10-15 years than now. Once big companies see they can profit this will go much faster. Hair loss is a trillion dollar industry.

As for PRP, I meant the the clinics are overpriced for what they do, it might be affordable if you have a way to spin your own plasma. PRP itself is not that effective for a lot of people. It's something you would add on to your hair loss stack. As for DHT, of course you would need to use Finasteride, I wouldn't recommend anyone getting off Finasteride even after a transplant. The ideal is for Verteporfin to help bring back a NW7,6,5,4 back to NW1 through multiple transplants separated throughout a time frame.

I am hopeful because this encouragers other to step and helps us get closer to a full cure to this plague

clinics always overcharge it's so fucking retarded, most "nurses" just took a 2 week class on how to do botox. It's all available at home for a fraction of the price. Always cope.
