lol @ this, you ever thought that what you think is meaningful they find meaningless and the reverse?not everyone has a purpose in life that keep them going, they simply exist for instant gratification, they’re all sheep following the crowds.
I was alone once again.
And yes, I do feel like I’m better than most people, not because of my looks nor because of my money or status. Simply because most people seem to care about what others think of them and instant gratification. Their lack of values truly amazed me.
They didn’t have to grow up early and become the father figure of their household, they didn’t have to deal with being a social outcast most of their lives and they didn’t have to work for the good of their family, they had an easy childhood which made them weak.
every day I see people in their little bubbles of meaningless lives, not knowing what they’ll be doing in a year or two, simply wandering through the streets without a proper purpose, without a desire to better themselves or make the world a better place, I sometimes get a feeling of disgust towards them for being lazy, even though I know it’s not their fault.
I still feel bad for people that don’t realize how much they can achieve with a little work and I have been trying to help them, but I guess most people prefer to just live their meaningless lives than to reach their full potential to make a difference. I guess it’s okay but I do look at them as beneath and in need of help.
You're judging others by your own value system, and from that you then infer meaningfulness from that...
As you say, you grew up alone and poor. Normals didn't. They grew up with friends that appreciated them, family that loves them, you needed to cope, so you decide that socialising isn't meaningful (because you theren't successful at it)
Meanwhile normals are enjoying their life every day of the week. They don't have any insecurity from being dirt poor or friendless so they are content with their life.
While you're grinding every day to one day equal past suffering with future pleasure normals are going through every day in pleasure. They've never suffered, you say this makes them weak because they don't have any motivation to change their present, but why would they? They are content with their lives, they're happy. You're the one that is/was not.
When will you be content? Normals are currently content. When will you catch up to them? Every day you are grinding for a better life and normies are happy content with theirs you are losing. From many perspectives it could be said you're the one living a meaningless life, chasing advancement because you're never content, running endlessly in a loop.
Also, you say
Yet it seems like your meaning to life is what others think of youSimply because most people seem to care about what others think of them and instant gratification.
And while I find the rest admirable you're also guilty of (at least desiring) to chase instant gratification by wanting to only support those close to you where you can get gratification from seeing them improve, instead of helping more poor people elsewhere, where arguably the total happiness increase would be larger.I don't believe in afterlife so the memory people will have of me is the only way I can live on after my passing
Sorry, tried to make a text-2-speech but the jews wanted me to pay to download the file

Mac and Windows has one included by default
Note: Don't take any offense if you are so inclined, this as more a way to challenge my own perspective than it is a response. In honesty I share part of your perspective.
