i have curly hair and sebderm, basic 2% ketokonasole shampoo geniunely healed my scalp after years of this fuckass condition and i almost forgot about it, hair curlier than ever. idk if there is a correlation. if 2% ketokonasole isnt helping, you can try pirotex ds champoo if you live in europe, or MCT OIL C8/C10

carnivore diet eliminated my sebderm, it always is the diet, if you don't want to become strict, try it as an elimination diet since it reduces inflammation and slowly incorporate more foods and evaluate if they trigger dandruff or irritation

Organs can be cheaper, brain is fatty and will easily satisfy you, liver is very nutrient dense, if not, go for fatty meat cuts, i like to cook meat in the grill always

Some eggs and butter/lard if you can get would be awesome

If you can't afford this, try fully eliminating flour based foods from your current diet, as well as stuff with processed sugars and omega6 oils, meaning, vegetable oils

aight bet thank u, also just quickly do u have wavy or curly hair ?

what kind of routine do u use? like what products and stuff etc
My hair hasn't looked better than how it is rn, i don't shampoo it anymore and that has helped, i couldn't do it before because of the sebderm, and you know, ketoconazole rapes your moisture, so once you fix your diet and sebderm goes away or reduces significantly, stop using shampoo and conditioner, you can use argan or coconut oil but you'll have to experiment with it to see if your hair tolerates it, if my hair isn't looking great, i wash it with lukewarm water, then apply a heated up mixture of coconut oil, greek yoghurt and honey/agave syrup, i then position myself next to a stove because heat upens up the cuticle and lets the product penetrate deep, i wait for around 20 minutes, then i rinse with apple cider vinegar because it lowers the hair's PH and seals the cuticle, then i wash it with cold water until it feels hard to move, and i wrap a cotton tshirt around my hair for 15 minutes, i take it off and it still should be a bit humid, apply some argan oil to lock moisture, i style and just let it air dry, the drying phase is where your hair is the most vulnerable to being damaged or creating frizz so don't touch it or move it that much

aight bet , yeah ive heard when your hair is wet its easily susceptible to damage cause I think my hair has been damaged by going out into the wind with wet hair, so any tips about drying hair like do u use a diffuser or hair dryer before u go out ?

I believe that the safest route to dry hair is wrapping a cotton tee or a microfiber towel around your head and just leave that for 15 - 30 minutes depending on hair length, density and thickness, but being careful because it can dry up too much, you should take it off when hair feels just a little bit humid and then let it air dry without touching
