Perhaps they did 100 years ago but not anymore. Anybody who joins a western army at this point is just looking for employment and easy living (just lol if you buy into the myth about army jobs being difficult), or they are cucks who think their shithole countries are still worth defending. There is also no evidence suggesting that soldiers are less cucked than non-military is political polls are to be trusted (which granted some might argue they aren't).
