It all started back in the end of 2022 that was when I started developing cystic acne all over my face, at first I thought it would all go away in a few months.. but it didn't. it only got worse from there i started breaking out more and more no matter what i did. fixed my diet, did skincare, tretinoin, benzoyl peroxide none of it worked.
I went to a dermatologist for the first time and he prescribed me Doxycycline which did absolutely nothing for me. then i got my hands on Minocycline which worked great with me but the doctors said that i shouldn't be using it for long. After a long time I revisited my dermatologist and made him prescribe me Accutane for the first time which actually helped and changed my skin.
This is how I got my skin from this:
To this now:
Low dose Accutane 10-20mg is All you need for skin basically it's the foundation for everything else
What's helping me right now maintain my skin is tretinoin but not every night, i use 0.05% tret 2-3 times a week
A cleanser that has Salicylic Acid , A light moisturizer and 50+ Sunscreen when i'm going out in the morning
Benzoyl peroxide and Tretinoin work but not if you're breaking out everyday
Other things that help greatly is micro-needling and skin lasering, I'm going to do Co2 laser soon too
[i'm not saying that i know everything but i'm just sharing my personal experience, there might be other ways to fix your skin but that's what worked for me and it might not work for you, others things that didn't help me might help you too]
