What could cause 0 to no weight loss in an intense diet for 3 weeks

So I’ve been on a diet for almost 3 weeks and it’s a very intense one

I’m super low on calories every day less than 1000 calories if even close to that

Some days I don’t eat anything some days I eat zucchini that’s basically solid water

Also drinking a lot of water

Yet I don’t spot a difference in my body

I think maybe my face got leaner but idk tbh it might just be water bloat gone this shouldn’t be the results in 3 weeks of torture
 
I honestly don’t know if i just have the worst metabolism ever or I’m anorexic

I’m 20 years old almost not old to be having this much trouble to lose weight

I wish I had a scale to weigh myself on and see if anything changed in the numbers cause in my body my eyes can’t spot it

Idk what to do i just wanna see any difference at all but I can’t not even muscle loss nothing changes

What’s your hormonal profile like?

I don’t see how consuming adequate protein intake (1g/1lb BW), Intense Cardio and a deficit of 500 calories below maintenance won’t do anything

Take a more slowed approach, I doubt you’re morbidly obese right?

Have atleast 1 cheat day a week.
Make sure u incorporate healthy fats during ur meals.
you’re testerone levels must be fucked. You’re body won’t prioritize burning fat anymore in this state.

They say lose 1-2 pounds per week, but really that's an average over time.

Fat cells fill with water and other dumb things.

real weight loss doesn't look like

1, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1

it's more like

0, 0, 0, 3, 0, 2, 0, 5

Quality of the food you eat is as important as the quantity when you are undermuscled( which im guessing is the case for you)
Eat at a 400 calorie deficit
Make sure you hit ur daily protein (120g )
most importantly you have to incorporate fats and carbs for the remaining calories.
Fats are essential for optimal testosterone in the body. Carbs are needed for energy

I think taking body measurements is the way to go . He needs to try to maintain the same measurements on the upper body , as the measurements in the waist/hip area decrease.

Why would you approach it like that? You shouldn’t do aggressive crash diets.
