where I live it's really hopeless. Even if I tried to change something the people here will be the first ones to sell me out.

I love the USA (and some western countries too) because there is a fighting spirit in the people. And it doesn't matter that liberals are usually the protesters, what matters is that people have a sense of freedom.

Where I live there have been 2 protests in 30 years. After the first one they had to build a new road because it became red. The second one not so brutal but someone was probably paying them to protest.
