HGH is secreted from your pituitary gland
IGF-1 is secreted from your liver

Both are needed for growth

No diff. They're both connected. Body releases hgh and releases it more if you fast and less in bad situations. Fasting as a result reduces igf - 1, therefore to have it increase you'd primarily need to eat and/or take peptides, train and rest.

HGH is what we take to increase IGF which leads to a cascade of growth factors aside IGF HGH is also needed but IGF is more important that why fasting increases GH but doesn't increase IGF and suppresses other anabolic factors and doesn't affect height positively
