What male height are most women sexually attracted to?

Hello,

I see users stating that above 6 ft is ideal. However, I have found research studies that conclude that a height of 5'11 is the most preferred male height by majority of the women.

One example of such a research study is the following:

The research study concludes that on average, the tallest height of a man a woman would want to date is 75.3" (6'3.3"), while the shortest is 68.9" (5'8.9"). It also concludes that 5'11.3" is the ideal male height preferred by women.

Does anyone disagree that 5'11 is the ideal male height? If so, could you provide a research study that supports your opinion?

The reason I'd like to discuss this is I've discovered that it's possible to add 6 inches to our own height, without surgery. So, if a man is 5'8" tall, and assuming that 5'11" is the ideal height, then that man would only need to add 3 out of those 6 inches to reach 5'11", which would maximize that man's attractiveness gained from height.

I may discuss the method I discovered that can add 6 inches to our own height, in this thread or in a new one.

I'd like to have a serious discussion about this, so please be respectful of other people's opinion and refrain from joking or presenting memes.

So basically 6-6'1 is the height that gives you the greatest number of chances with women (without analyzing other characteristics)

The following image is from the above website, which states:

In the red rectangle, it states that the women and men voted in that poll. It would not be valid to consider men's opinion as well, because we are only interested in women's perception of ideal height. By considering men's opinion on the matter as well, it would distort the conclusion that 6'1" is the ideal height preferred by women.

What are your thoughts on this?

I like the second study you presented, here are the results:

As shown above, 2803 women accepted a man of height 182.88 cm (6'0.0"), 2689 women accepted 180.34 cm (5'11.0"), 2676 women accepted 185.42 cm (6'1.0"). This suggests that 6'0.0" is the first preferred height, 5'11.0" is the second preferred height, and 6'1.0" is the third preferred height.

You mentioned that 6'1 is ideal, however, that is not in line with the above study (6'.0.0"). Can you explain why you think it's 6'1?

So you should not fixate on studies which concludes on women's view only.

There are studies correlating height with success in corporate world etc.

At the end of the day taller than average men command more respect from other people.

One hypothesis could be that we see taller people as leaders because we've been doing that since childhood.

That's a good point. I have changed the title accordingly. The intent was to identify the height most women are sexually attracted to.

Thanks for giving input to why you think taller than average men are more preferred. The purpose of this thread was to discuss what the ideal male height is, not why it is so, so I have no comments in regards to this.

Granted, I do think almost all women (in the west atleast) would pick someone who’s 6’2 before someone who’s 5’11.

I agree with you, there have been studies that suggest women prefer men taller than they are. So if she is 6'1, she would be more attracted to someone that's 6'2 as opposed to 5'11 or 6'0. I also agree with you that there isn't an ideal male height for all women, but there is an ideal height for most women.

I have 2 questions for you:

1) How do you know the participants are ugly?
2) Let's assume the participants are ugly. Are women who are more attractive have different male height preferences than a women who is ugly?

I agree with you that most girls don't know what they want. This makes me question whether even a research study is sufficient to specify their preferences. I think one way to know what height women truly prefer is by asking them the height of their past boyfriends, since actions speak louder than words. However, I have not found any research studies like this.

They think that looks are 100% when it comes to sexual attraction/life, and no matter how horrible of a person you are, as long as you're gl you will succeed. This falls a part in the real world when you see plenty of subhuman looking men with stacy gfs.

I have seen this occur as well. However, I am skeptical whether if the Stacy has sex with her subhuman boyfriend. I am under the impression that Stacy is with him because of his money and status (she can get famous and spend his money) and that she does not have sex with him.

If the goal is to just a girlfriend with no sexual intercourse, then we can consider that the subhuman has succeeded.
But if the goal is to also have sex, then that subhuman has failed.
