whats more accurate the cdc growth chart or the prediction doctors tell you

almost every appt my doctor says that im gonna be 5'10 probably 5'11, but the cdc growth chart shows my growth lining up 1:1 with the 50th percentile. (5'9). do they have a different chart now? coulda sworn the cdc is the universal one.
