My form of social anxiety is very annoying. I’m not scared of people and I know that I shouldn’t be nervous because no one actually cares what you do unless you’re doing something that warrants attention. I have hyperhidrosis which makes my anxiety even worse, because when I sweat I get anxious and when I get anxious I sweat even more. I’ve been doing something research on some drugs for hyperhidrosis and for anxiety.
Hyperhidrosis:
Glycopirrolate
Oxybutynin
These are the 2 main drugs used and I’m probably going to ask to be prescribed glyco
Social Anxiety:
Propranolol
Pregabalin
Propranolol is the thing I’m considering the most rn since it doesn’t really do anything to ur brain so u won’t become dependent or get withdrawls. It also doesn’t have many side effects especially if u do a low dose. I also think that it’ll be really good since a lot of my anxiety is physical stuff like shaky voice, facial flushing, and sweating obv.
Pregab is enticing but I’m hesitant bc of the dependency.
I forgot to mention that rn I’m doing 300 mcg of selank intranasally everyday, but my spray is only 5 mg so it’ll be out fast.
So after all of that talk ig my question is what should I try to get prescribed first out of every drug out there. There’s probably things that I don’t even know exist that’d help me. Or should I just do prop and maybe glyco?
