What’s the Copest Exercise in the Gym?

Deadlift in general, a shit exercise with disproportionately huge risks and that offers small aesthetic benefits - it's just an ego lift to see a big number and brag about it to other gym-goers. If you want a nice-looking back, just do pull-ups.

Squats if you keep adding weight to it after reaching a decent weight / leg size. While it is really important for novices and offers some good results in term of core stability and general mobility, at a certain point it also becomes an ego lift with small aesthetic benefits. Chicken legs look like shit, but this looks even worse.

Isolated exercises if you don't know what you're doing. The compound lifts I've listed before may be overrated, but if you're starting out you better learn to do those first.
It’s impossible to have these legs if you’re not using a very high quantity of roids

Answering OP question

- Isolated Legs exercises (Squat will do more for your legs and even upper body than all other isolated legs together)

- Isolated back exercises, except the ones who work lats (big backs is not aesthetically good, but lats is still important because give some impression of V shape)

deadlift, squats, bench press, overhead press. it will all compress ur spine and make u significantly shorter both temporary and permanently over time.
bench is not cope, its a legit move to improve your pushing muscles and strenght, Ive been doing only bench for pushing and gives me good results, varying between medium and close grip

Legs are important but i dont think it matters much when you can just wear sweat pant’s theory

look at david laid and kienan fagen they always wear sweatpants

legs obviously should be proportional to upper body but upper body should always be biggerView attachment 2096217

OHP and Bench won't compress your spine nearly as much as a squat and even then, bro science.

OHP is anything but cope. I got wide shoulders thanks to OHP and freestanding hspu. (Not as big in video but anyway : )

Cope exercises include : every isolations on earth. Leg exercises since you can fraud that part easily.

I used the information you guys shared ITT to make the best program that should completely replace Starting Strength (SS) as the go-to beginner program.

The Minimalist Mogger (MM) Hypertrophy Program.

Wait squats hypertrophy the torso? I have a narrow ribcage so this would be a plus
Not how it works. They will not hypertrophy the ribcage, only the core muscles below the ribcage. You need to work on expanding your rib cage with pullovers and flies. Also work on your lats.

curls are more important than all leg exercises combined
biceps are the least important muscle of the upper body and the only reason people care about them is because of a history based around men liking to flex. if the biceps flex wasn't a meme (Dawkinsian sense) then people would give far less of a shit about training biceps. now, i expect this point is too subtle for you, I'm really just typing it for my own benefit, so I don't feel like there are any loose ends

i rate thumb training over biceps, and, yes, I own a Titan's Telegraph Key

this way of thinking is kinda retarded. there's very few exercises that are essentially useless, EVEN THEN any exercise is better than no exercise.

some are just better than others depending on your goal. there's very few useless exercises really. some of them being stuff that involve exercising on bosu balls, doing combined movements such as lunging while curling etc.

besides the very select few, it all depends.

What exercise is the biggest gymcel cope?

Biggest Gymcel Cope Exercises Guide v1.3:

-gym

calf raises. u either have them or u dont
Yeah, I used to autistically try to compensate for my calves with all angles and insertions to get the diamond shape. It never happened, even after a decade. It just wasnt in the cards. I was always afraid of looking skinny in the legs.

But there is good news, the older you get, the more your calves seem to naturally fill out. Im starting to notice Im getting what I call "Dad Calves" where they get thicker despite not having worked them. Seems to come in full force after 40 but it starts at 30.

What exercise is the biggest gymcel cope?

deadlifts, all these kids saying squats and all the compounds are skinny, they were born with inferior genetics but instead of blaming their parents they take out their anger here and give out bad advice, build muscle and get shredded, skinny legs look hilarious, your legs are your base and people just dont want to work/train hard, btw Carlton does mens physique so he doesnt even get judged on it but still grinds, he is a gymcel, everyone else just shows up, makes no progress and leaves, so they are a no-progresscel

Squats and deadlifts (assuming aesethetic purpose’s only)
deadlifts are great for aesthetics, they train your glutes, erectors and hamstrings without making your quads big, which means you have a strong posterior chain without having large legs, because those give you an x taper which is ugly.

they are the only lift I do for legs for this reason.

StairMaster, a cardio machine, doesn’t replace a compound lower-body strength-builder.

The one thing they always tell u is to stick your butt out, how to you even progress that far and not think to check if your form is right

He probably knew and didn’t give a fuck.

deadlifts are most bang for your buck general strength exercise. one set of five per week and you can get up to repping 405+. a set of curls to failure feels worse than a heavy set of deadlifts. so little time and effort. not doing deadlifts is cope. i would do them even if there were no aesthetic benefit.

I mean If you Have Limited Time and energy Leaving deadlifts Out lets you still get a Great physique. Jfl at copers saying squat. Youre not gonna Have quad sweep without squats. Or If you grind up to 600kg Leg press might as Well squat because youre wasting so Much Time loading all those plates.

Romanian deadlifts MOG conventional into oblivion. Directly transfers in strength to that exercise without even doing it (rep 495 on romanian deadlifts for sets of 5+ and you will have an extremely strong conventional).

Better hypertrophy for glutes, hams, lower and upper back. Less injury risk. Easier to recover from. If you’re not a powerlifter and do conventional deadlifts, you’re a dumbass

Here’s a few overrated and completely unneeded exercises:

1. Conventional Deadlift
2, Barbell Squat
3. Any Overhead/Shoulder Press
4. Barbell Row

Superior Alternatives:

1. Romanian Deadlift
2. Leg Press, Leg Extensions
3. Lateral Raises
4. Chest Supported Rows (machines or dumbbells)

Isn’t Romanian for ham strings

What’s the point

Primarily targets hamstrings and glutes, but also heavily works spinal erectors (lowerback) which is a muscle that actually contribute to aesthetics substantially.

A lot of what people think is back thickness comes from developed lower back muscles. Its what makes you look thick/strong from the side and accentuates the upper back when viewed from behind.

Rdls also hit your upper back and traps, and when you get strong enough to rep 405+, they’re going to get a huge stimulus from having to stabilize and contract under that heavy of a weight

And why squats?

So many lifters say squat is the best compound movement for legs

Why would you do leg extensions, which burn like crazy, if you can just do squats and develop your glutes at the same time?
