Some Swedish retard fucked that up for us in 2009 or something. Went backpacking in Tibet for a spell and then tried to organize a protest in BJ amongst the foreign expatriate population there. Got his ass and everybody else involved deported and banned immediately before they could do a damn thing. Then the rules for foreigners visiting Tibet changed. Now you gotta have a "guide", as well as formal permission.
