Mexicans in the US will never be “white”, and yes I’m aware that there’s people that are ethnically/culturally Mexican and look/are white because they come from a direct lineage of spaniard descendants but mexicans as a whole will always be a minority doesn’t matter what a census says

if fair skinned straight haired white pandering Chinese were never fully accepted as whites Mexicans definitely won’t, and theydon’t want to either (at least first generation and beyond)
