Only thing that mattersis you posting what u look like to other slayers (not pic standing next to nerds). Also prob ur bench already since it is elite numbers (220kg) as you said and you would outlife many promising young olympic powerlifters with those lifts at that low 104kg bodyweight.

Plus narrow clavicles is the sincle most detrimental thing you can have. Yes you can make your shoulders look weider but you are still limited to how big they can look because of it. It’s one of the ultimate truecel/gymcel traits. When guys pack on a ton on there delts but they cant hide the narrow clavicles in a tshirt.

I’m not strong but anecdotally…

My right arm dumbell OHP has always been stronger than my left arm OHP. I train both arms to the failure reps of the left arm to try and balance it out.

However the right arm has at least matched, if not exceeded, the gains of the left arm without being trained anywhere near failure. Talking about 8 in reserve on a set of 20. I know this because I test the right arm max every few months.
So failure is good?

When I was creating my physique, yes I trained to failure each set, with medium weight. Mostly used isolation exercises. Nowadays I maintain so I dont really need to train as hard.
 
So failure is good?

Apparently it doesn’t matter. Both arms increased by roughly the same amount. If anything failure would be bad because more risk of injury and harder to recover from.

I do like 5 sets of one thing at home that's about it, don't train to failure but all of my lifts are pretty heavy.

I do like 5 sets of one thing at home that's about it, don't train to failure but all of my lifts are pretty heavy.

I train every muscle with 2-3 exercises like i do around 30 exercises plus cardio at the end
1 set each 3-6 reps 0-1 RIR 1 warm up set with 1 rep around 90-95% of my working set weight

I did 5 sets of t-bar rows today.

most of my workouts are like that, takes me around 30 mins if I make an effort, but usually several hours because I literally do like one set an hour while doing other things.

I do one exercise a day, have done this from the beginning, but I did two exercises a day for a bit last year.

used to do 10 sets instead of 5 but I got other things to do right now and don't really care for it that much.

You’re not giving your muscles rest, you will just get ton of fatigue

I personally do 2 normal sets and then a failure set with a drop set in each exercise on average

Why not just do less sets to failure rather than messing around with a bunch of volume.

Im either going all out or nothing at all tbh

So you’re doing like 1-2 sets to failure for each exercise? Then it’s fine I guess, but let’s say you’re doing chest day and then doing 3-4 exercises and doing 1-2 sets to failure with like 1-3 RIR you won’t let your chest rest in the workout and it will be an overkill, I personally in your place would do like 3 exercises for chest (sternal head and clavicular head) and then do 1 hard set but not to failure and then do the next set to failure

That way you will get less fatigue and build the same amount of muscle more or less

If you are doing every set to failure, get at least 5 minutes break per set

I have achieved a very good physique for a natural. The best gains I ever made when i was doing push/pull/leg and working out 5-6 times a week. I would not do every set til failure, only my last set on the exercise. All you need to worry about is progressive overload and eating lots of protein and consistency. Dont skip and always go and you will get a good physique
