Why Did Retinol Not Work For ME?

I used two retinol products, and got no results whatsoever.
i used CORSX
- Retinol 0.1
- Retinol 0.5

neither of these made my skin break out/ get dry, it also didnt make my skin look clear or get rid of my eye bags
