Why do darker skinned Indians and lighter skinner Indians look almost the same IN PHOTOS?

I'm talking about the coloring. Although they've vast difference in color in real life, cameras blur the line between the darkness of one and lightness of other.

I'm talking about both of them being in the same photo, they look almost the same color. Whereas irl, one gets called "kallu" and other gets complimented for having light skin

i dont think thats true ngl, maybe with some cameras but in most of my pics the difference is noticeable.

this isn’t true, rors and jatts, khatris have twice or thrice the amount of steppe dna, this clearly will have effect on soft feature, do you think sallu bhai and hrithik looks like average hyderabadi

I've seen Roshan with draviduans and they look same colour in a pic

I heard phone cameras have a tendency to make non white people darker then they actually are
