If darker was beautiful they'd all be tanning. But they're not.

They don't. It was just a trend in a tiny part of Western Europe for low class people. Which doesn't exist anymore. North and Eastern europeans didn't ever tan

Yes because of skin cancer/aging concerns. Everyone agrees tanned looks better because white is an ugly skin tone
