Why do normies focus on shoulder - waist and not shoulder - hip

Is it because having narrow hips in comparison to shoulders is rare? Most people have a decent shoulder to waist ratio unless you’re unlucky but the shoulder to hip ratio well shoulder to waist to hip is what will carry an aesthetic build.

Why do people focus on the ratio of your shoulders - waist when most people already have a decent ratio.

The one that makes up aesthetics is shoulder - hips well shoulder - waist - hips.

Compare a standard ectomorph frame such as mine to someone like David Laid, Jeff Seid or Zyzz. I have very narrow shoulders and a small waist but my hips aren’t super narrow compared to theirs.
