Why does Matt Smith look so fucking weird?

Please help me solve this mystery. He is a very strange and unique-looking person. Literally, every normie I hear IRL comments on how his face looks very "different".

From the front his skull looks very narrow, IPD close-set, midface long, bad midface ratio and FWHR. No eyebrows. Thin lips. This is clear, but is there anything else?

Look at him from the side too, his maxilla and forward growth look pretty good to me. Awesome mandible and eye area. Looks like he might have a bit of bimaxillary protrusion though, right? (A slight bit like his is ideal though). Does he have midface hypoplasia? If so, that would explain why he looks so goddamn strange.
