Maybe some of you tiktokcels don't know about these movies but theu are like the romantic movies classics. The most iconic movies of all time and they all follow a direct cheating plot or one or multiple cheating sub plots that runs always run along side the main one. What is it with Hollywoods obsession with cheating?

Because it appeals to the true nature of women, who are the largest consumers of media worldwide. Women were praising Nosferatu, where the girl fucks a 7 foot tall decrepit ogre until she dies. LMFAO.

I mean.. it's fiction. It's supposed to show more "extreme" things that would be considered taboo in every day life. Helps make your cortisol spike through shock value, which in turn makes you more intrigued and want to tune in more and/or leave a memorable impression

What's even more infuriating is how they try to justify their actions.
I literally wanted to kill her through the screen for her husband, and then some bitch on TikTok saying it's not her fault

out of 100 infidelities initiated by women, how often do you think this happens
well if we take into account chads are the top 1% of men not many, when chads do get cucked though I bet this happens 60/100 times

Because of the jews

Women love the idea of cheating on a boring guy with a hot exciting dude. Flips some kind of switch in them.

And jews also

I dont think this is specific to Hollywood. I once read a book called "Jamillia" by Chingiz Aimatov and it pretty much follows the same pattern.

The story follows a woman named Jamila who lives in a small town with very traditional values. Her husband goes off to war, and while he’s away, a wounded soldier returns after being injured in battle. He and Jamila fall in love, and eventually they run away together without even telling her husband.

Its been called one of the best romance books and I enjoyed it too. I dont really think its necessarily that people (women esepcially) watch these movies because cheating is in their nature, but rather because they create shock value, which makes them more memorable and feel more original compared to other romance stories, as another user said.

They also put you in a moral dilemma. You know cheating is wrong but from their viewpoint it semms justified and fair.
