Not right now I don’t no but I’m not a million miles off it


Basially I could get a genio done this year or wait another 18 months and get genio+bimax together

The latter would probably ascend me more but the flip side is you’ve got to consider how valuable time is with regards to looksmaxxing - I’m not getting any younger eiher

It all depends on what is needed, lefort 1 isn’t just “typically” used for short face syndrome

Also this makes me excited for my bimax. My maxilla is being downgraded and my mandible rotated CCW. And both of them being advanced

A shit smile cannot be fixed by lefort 1 alone.

If you downgraft the maxilla, how do you expect the occlusion with mandibule will still fit? U have to clockxise the mandibule

Some surgeon can fix shit smile with lf1 alone , but what they will do us impaxt posterior maxilla (reduce height frol behind) and increase it in front , this is 1) hard to do , 2) loosing some soft tissu support

There is not lot of studies on downgraftong for poor smile but i have seen more thab 5 case (besides ur link) and they all did bimax to get good result
