Why your PIE/PIH may not be decreasing

Before you put harsh ingredients on your skin like 20% azaleic acid or tret you need to prep it so you can get the benefits instead of mainly irritation

I have finally started to see the last bit of my pie starting to fade after I started applying a toner and essence after cleansing. No irritation or burning at all unlike before when I was only applying moisturizer before the actives

How does a pie fade? And why are you applying toner and essence to it.
