Will my strength decrease if I take longer rest days?

During the holiday I could consistently go to the gym almost everyday (other then a single rest day) and train my power building/DUP programme, I gained huge strength gains over the 2 weeks of holidays but now I have school I am not able to go for around 3-4 days of the week (I have been using these days as rests). Will this longer rest period impact my strength negatively or will it not make a difference?

It will probably increase your strength
