Im 16 and have braces. I went on a scan for my teeth and my orthodontist told me that my wisdom teeth in the upper jaw are fine and i wont have to remove them but in my lower jaw she said it would be a good idea to get them removed or else i might have some complications when im older. I wanna know what I should do because I dont want to descend myself. Please help me.

You should create more space for them, you are developing still. Don't get them removed unless absolutely necessary they will push so hard for you to.

the tooth is already in the jaw, just not grown out. this just means that the surgeon has to remove even more bone and soft tissue to get the wisdom tooth out. its a lot better to do when the teeth are already out and in the mouth.

my tooth are all out and theres still no space, 1 molar even hurts cuz of the pressure from the wisdom tooth.

even if they grow out youre not safe from removal

I fucking hope should i wait for it to grow out or try and get them removed asap. But I read that teeth actually promote that the bone around them stay as big as it is otherwise its useless and will shrink or something?

Alright thanks i see people saying that they all recommend surgery just to make money while i feel like my ortho is actually a decent fucking human with some morals

Genes arent what determine palate size, its nutrition. The orthodontist shouldve saw it coming and expanded his palate+braces but they cant be bothered nowadays because removing wisdom teeth is considered "normal"

Is there anything i can do to fix this. And my palate isnt even the problem i have a very wide palate and good forward growth. its my lower jaw. And also only one teeth looks problematic so i want to say no to the extraction until i start having problems (if i do)

Did you measure your palate?
Because tribal people with traditional diets never have this issue.
However you bones arent as malleable as a child anymore so there very little you can do at this point.
but dont stress too much, wisdom teeth have very little impact on facial aesthetics

I didnt measure it but I have a smile that shows 10 teeth. Also my ortho said my maxilla is very wide. Im also 16 so there could be a way? Thanks bro im really scared it will fuck me up but i dont think ima take them out just yet as its not even confirmed i will have issues with them its just a precaussion

My parents arent forcing me to get them removed brother. My mom said its completely my decision. Im just sceptical of what will happen if i dont remove them
