1. Are you White?

2. What is the pay difference even if the Swiss job pays more look at rent Switzerland is designed for people making more money. So compare the salary and cost of livings respectively

3. Do you know Japanese at all? I know Swiss use English a lot or Germanic languages that you can learn in 4 months. Japanese will take you a year to get to business fluency if you work very hard. Something to consider. I thought I was good at learning language when I learned Spanish but Japanese was brutal might give up it takes 3X longer I could learn 3 Latin languages to the same level of fluency as I could with Japanese.

if you’re not a shitskin rice then Japan might be better for you actually, they’ll accept you. Also if the company you’re working for is foreign, then you won’t get absurd hours and the work culture will be different compared to actual Japan companies.

Will be harder for you. I've heard Japanese people are unforgiving for non white foreigners who are not good at speaking Japanese.

Vs if your White its expected you will fumble and people are forgiving. You will need a years time to get decent enough at Japanese that you can use it casually. Especially if your East Asian people will look at you like your retarded. Even if you were black or something people would just automatically assume you will not speak good Japanese

You can do it in a years time 6 months if you dedicate hours a day to learning it. If you just casually learn and consume media it will take a year or longer.
