ok so everyone runs an AI on a height protocol bc estrogen closes plates right, makes sense. but heres the thing estrogen doesnt just bind to one receptor it
binds to ERα and ERβ and they do completely opposite things. ERα in the hypertrophic zone drives closure thats the one youre trying to suppress. but ERβ
in the proliferative zone actually drives chondrocyte proliferation aka the thing that makes you grow. so when u run letrozole ur not selectively blocking
ERα ur just nuking all ur estrogen so both receptors lose signal at the same time. plates close slower yeah but they also grow slower bc u just killed the
signal telling ur chondrocytes to keep dividing. so the actual move is low dose AI to keep ERα quiet then throw in an ERβ selective agonist like s-equol or
liquiritigenin to restore the proliferative signal u just suppressed. stack that with abalo which is already holding chondrocytes in proliferative state via
pthrp and now u got three separate mechanisms all pushing in the same direction. running an AI without addressing ERβ is just leaving the most important
