Oh, I was already preparing that even before you asked.

Sources (PMID):
1. Strength training reduces mortality risk by up to 27%: 35599175
2. Aerobic exercise + strength training reduces mortality risk by up to 41-47%: 36167669
3. Benefits of strength training for metabolic health: 22777332
4. Heart health benefits: 38059362
5. Reduce the risk of falls: 39689408
6. Reduce the risk of fractures: 33367736
7. Reduces the risk of osteoporosis and improves bone health: 30513557
8. Treats depression: 22777332

Example of some of the conclusions of the first source, a review and meta-analysis:

As I said, there's no discussion whatsoever in the literature about strength and cardiovascular training being good for your health and longevity or not, the answer's pretty clear.

The only situation where this is NOT true occurs when a person overtrains, doesn't recover properly, or they train for too long (in which case yes, the elevated strength response will be problematic). But of course, this is not what anyone is suggesting you do.

The only people who think training is bad for you haven't engaged with the literature and go off assumptions, exaggerations and misinterpretations of biology, and not from what the studies and real-life examples are actually saying.

Do you understand what a PMID is? It stands for PubMed Identifier, basically how you cite papers from PubMed, all it takes is put on Google "PMID + identifier number" and you will be directed to the paper. But whatever, Imma do it, if you're too lazy to do it yourself.

5. Suppressed Immunity

After very intense workouts, the immune system can be temporarily weakened (“open window” hypothesis), increasing susceptibility to infections.

3. Cardiac Stress

In rare cases, intense endurance training (e.g., ultramarathons) has been linked to:

Atrial fibrillation

Heart scarring

Sudden cardiac events in genetically predisposed individuals1. Overtraining Syndrome (OTS)

Chronic excessive exercise without adequate rest can lead to fatigue, hormonal imbalance, poor immunity, and injury.

Symptoms include depression, poor performance, insomnia, and increased risk of illness.

10. Time Trade-Off

Obsessive focus on exercise can displace time from sleep, relationships, work, or more restorative activities (like meditation or creativity).

13. Cultural Obsession with Productivity

The pressure to be constantly optimizing health and performance can turn even leisure activity like exercise into a form of labor.
Just say you're fat bro

Yeah, I should have seen that coming, but just know that you're wrong lol. I gave you the tools, gave you the information, it's your issue what you decide to do with your life, but don't go out promoting this stupid ass shit to others. It is literally endangering other people's health, it's an amoral thing to do

u have to admit some advice is good tho. like animal organs being the most nutritious foods, and eating only organic not processed shit

I don't believe anyone is entirely wrong about anything, we always have something to learn from people. I started implementing animal liver into my diet because of Saladino back when he was a carnivore, it's true, animal organs are very nutrient dense, and not getting literal poison into your body through pesticides and herbicides is probably the healthiest thing to do.

However, we have to draw a line on how much slack we give the guy, maybe 10% of his advice is good, but the other 90% is bullshit.

🪞 projecting.

i dont need to go to the gym to have a good frame, unlike you, framecuck
Dude even if you have a wide frame, it doesn't mean you will be able to overpower another person in a fight due to it. How will you defend yourself without a decent amount of muscle and power?

What most people are doing is heavy lifting in gym and running and those are abusing ur body in most cases

but mild exercising is good for u, like long walking, cycling, swimming, pull-ups, push-ups, lifting moderate weights and not to failure (not stupid squats with shit ton of weight or deadlifts where you are about to poop and get red face like a tomato from high blood pressure)

Or games like basketball or tennis are excellent

Brilliant. Not another Goatis dick rider.
True chads exercise and lift weights.
Keep coping.
Goatis is one of the worst people you should take advice from.

He's fucking so unhinged that someone made a 3 hour documentary on him.
