Contained within is a plethora of hard evidence that EC cuts fat without any expense to lean tissue. I only use primary resources that are directly connected to the scientific research, so there will be no miscommunication between outcome and results.

A study:

Ephedra-containing weight-loss supplements were widely used in the 1990s. Caffeine was combined with ephedrine, the most potent isomer of the four ephedra isomers, to stimulate weight loss pharmacologically, and it was an approved combination weight loss drug in Denmark for over a decade (3). A meta-analysis of clinical trials concluded that ephedrine and ephedra enhanced weight loss 0.9 kg/month above the amount lost with placebo in trials lasting up to 6 months (4). In a pilot study we performed at Pennington Biomedical Research Center, female subjects were treated with either caffeine and ephedrine (n = 6) or fenfluramine and mazindol or phentermine (n = 14) for 6-9 months. Both groups lost weight, but the caffeine/ephedrine group experienced no loss of lean tissue mass (unpublished data) suggesting that caffeine/ephedrine might preferentially preserve lean tissue mass during weight loss.

Another study:

Results: Groups treated with CE and LCE lost significant amounts of weight (-5.9 ± 1.2% and -6.5 ± 1.1%, P < 0.05) and whole body fat mass (-9.6 ± 2.4% and -12.4 ± 2.3%, P < 0.05) compared to leptin only group. Only treatment with LCE significantly reduced visceral fat mass (-11.0 ± 3.3%, P < 0.05). There were no differences in lean mass between treatment groups.

Conclusions:
Our study provides evidence that CE is a modestly effective weight loss agent and produces significant reductions in fat mass. Leptin A-200 was not effective in producing weight loss and did not have any significant additive or synergistic actions when combined with CE.

(the previous linked study also mentions that leptin generally has results that aren't too dissimilar from EC stack in terms of maintenance of lean muscle tissue, but generally has no added benefit and is not synergistic with EC)

Another study:

Results: Twenty-eight individuals were randomised and consented to the study. Twenty-three completed the trial and only these participants were included in the final analyses. After 28 days of treatment, the active group lost a significant amount of total body fat (placebo 1.1 ± 0.3 kg, ephedrine -0.9 ± 0.5 kg; p < 0.01) and visceral fat (placebo 6.4 ± 19.1 g, ephedrine -134 ± 43 g; p < 0.01), with no change in lean mass or bone mineral content compared with the placebo group. In response to acute ephedrine, BAT activity (change in mean standardised uptake value: placebo -3 ± 7%, ephedrine -22 ± 6%) and the increase in systolic blood pressure were significantly reduced (p < 0.05) in the active group compared with placebo.

Conclusions/interpretation: Chronic ephedrine treatment reduced body fat content, but this was not associated with an increase in BAT activity. Rather, chronic ephedrine suppressed BAT glucose disposal, suggesting that chronic ephedrine treatment decreased, rather than increased, BAT activity.

(In the above context, 'BAT' stands for Brown Adipose Tissue, a form of body fat)

Translation? Ephedrine will cut bodyfat without leading to an increased accumulation of fat around the organs and lean tissue, and shows an overall significant drop (this study seems to be an outlier, as most studies mention a mere 'modest' drop) in not only weight, but systolic (i.e, heartbeat) blood pressure.

And you thought I was joking when I said it was a miracle drug?

Another study:

Objective: To investigate the hypothesis that the peripheral actions of caffeine and ephedrine to increase sympathetic tone and metabolic rate and to preserve lean tissue will cause weight loss in patients with hypothalamic obesity.

Methods: We present 3 case studies of consecutive patients who presented with hypothalamic obesity and were treated with caffeine (200 mg) and ephedrine hydrochloride (25 mg) 3 times a day.

Results: All patients were gaining weight at the time of initial assessment. The first patient lost 8% to 9% of her body weight and maintained that loss for the subsequent 2 years. The second patient lost 18.8% of her body weight and was maintaining a 9.5% weight loss after 6 years. The third patient lost 14% of her body weight during a 6-month period and gradually returned to her baseline weight during a period of 5 years, after which she was referred for bariatric surgical treatment.

Conclusion: These 3 patients with hypothalamic obesity, who had been steadily gaining weight, lost a mean of 13.9% of their body weight, and 2 of them maintained weight loss for a period of years. Thus, caffeine and ephedrine appeared to halt weight gain and maintain a clinically significant weight loss in 2 of our 3 patients. A randomized clinical trial to confirm these findings would be appropriate but difficult because of the rarity of this disorder.

Ephedrine is quite possibly a panacea for most of the obesity-related ailments placating Western society, which is why it's astonishing they banned it so readily based on a few people who collapsed and died due to dehydration from ingesting not even ephedrine, but ephedra (the alkaloids increase perspiration and heart rate). The scientific data is overwhelming on the safety, efficacy, and utility of an EC/A (Ephedrine/Caffeine/Aspirin) Stack, and I've seen no evidence to the contrary; If anything, I've only seen more and more suggestions that it increases overall circulatio and heart health, not harm.

A study on ECA safety, from the Abstract:

In all studies, no significant changes in heart rate, blood pressure, blood glucose, insulin, and cholesterol levels, and no differences in the frequency of side effects were found. ECA in these doses is thus well tolerated in otherwise healthy obese subjects, and supports modest, sustained weight loss even without prescribed caloric restriction, and may be more effective in conjunction with restriction of energy intake.

So it almost seems to alter the body's chemistry by making it impossible to gain and maintain weight, thus leading it to be easily one of the most effective, cheaply available weight loss/cutting cures of all time.

Can we combine with dnp for maximal output

I wouldn't take any phenolic steroids while trying to cut, period. Too many risks of death involved, since they're not intended for that purpose

That stuff works great at first but it stops working so good after being used a few times. The body stops reacting to it as strongly after some uses.

According to all available literature, efficicacy lasts long after last initial dose, as it seems to alter the body's metabolic chemistry and how it processes/utilises fat for energy years after the discontinuation of ephedrine. This particular study is of pertinent relevance.

too bad caffeine makes me way too anxious to the point where I'm sure taking caffeine would make me fatter from the effect the cortisol would have on my metabolism

You don't need that much, literally just the amount in a small cup of coffee (roughly 125-150mg) to activate the synergistic effect of roughly 50mg of ephedrine hcl. If you can deal with the amount of caffeine in a can of Red Bull, then that is all the caffeine you need (personally I take about 125-200mg)

I get anxious from 50 mg

I just know after 2 bottles of ECA stack years ago it lost its effect on me for the most part. Still made me a little jittery but the pounds didn't melt off like before.
