I have to spend almost £600 a month on my meds from boots which is quite a bit for a student/poorcel like myself.
Does anyone know how to get meds alot cheaper in the UK.
Are there any legitimate pharmacies from other countries that accept UK scripts and ship them or something that people have experience with.

b-b-ut I thought UK healthcare was free? Nah but seriously can’t the government cover at least half the price of the meds?

Phenelzine (Anti-Anxiety Meds).

For most stuff it is, but they dont really help people with mental health issues or if they do the help is second-rate. If you have an actual issue its best just to go private.

I could probably eventually get it on the NHS, but first I have to reach a dose that works and then stay on it for a while to stabilise my health so I can prove it improves my mental wellbeing (I would also need to find a GP willing to prescribe it which might be quite a hard task as Phenelzine isnt very popular or well liked drug by many GPs).

So It will probably be 3-6 months before they offer to pay for it. Once/If they pay for it I'll only have to pay 10-20£ per month so thats not too bad but atm its like half my monthly income as I only work a few days a week :lul:.

Any idea if they sell Phenelzine? Do you not get a bit worried buying MAOIs from india tho, had any issues with the quality?

I'd be more cautious buying phenelzine from India since it's banned there. There's probably a higher chance it's gonna be fake.
Had no issues with parnate so far though.

I'll probably just leave it if thats the case, dont want to risk getting something dodgy. I'll just try get it on the NHS in 3/6 months.
