This excercise help on the counterclockwise rotation of the maxila
Belt pulling is the most effective technique for counterclockwise rotation of the maxila and can give faster results By counterclockwise rotation of the maxila the maxila gets up, filling the midface and the mandible forward Reducing midface lenght and increasing facial lower Third. Can be very beneficial for people with malloclusions
Should always done when the person keep proper tongue posture for the stabilization of the results that is essential with other face pulling techniques like inter oral face pulling thumb pulling zygopulling and towel pulling
You need a belt setted high hanged to a object preferably a pull up bar with the lowest part of the belt about to the height of the mouth or a bit higher
At fisrt engage the belt to your Palate like this
Bite the belt with strong force and then perform a chin tuck
Hold the chin tuck position with tyour hands on the back of your head(occiptal)
From that braced position let your body drop while maintaining the braced chin tuck and Bite position
While doing this the belt will generate force pushing the maxila up You will feel your maxila squeezing and pressure on the cheekbones and masseters
Hold this position for about 20sec and focus that your weight is supported by the belt with the belt beeing straight and your body didnt move around just dropped down
Remember to keep your safety and not overdo It It can be extremely dangerous
*TIP While engaging the belt on your mouth and performing a chin tuck to stay to the tips of your feet that make the dropping down procedure easier
Do belt pulling together with mewing and other techniques that aiding on maxila expansion
You should do It once a week
3-4 times 20-25sec
Is a cruel excercise for the bones and if is overdone can cause problems
Another way to do belt pulling is by engaging the belt behind the last molar and then Bite on your teeth without biting the belt (that can be done only if the belt is too thin to fit there probably)
This way can help more on forward growth by pushing the maxila forward
A benefit of belt pulling is that It works with the whole maxila bone so that mean that the risk of teeth moving is very small
If your not over 15 and your skull is underdeveloped you better not trying It yet It can mess up the skull anatomy of a developing person
