Whats the difference?Is this a question? If you want an athletic kinda program that involves conditioning ax1 is good but if you want a good solid weight program Starting Strength or Strong Lifts is better.
AX-1 is not a traditional program it’s a very weird one and costs a bunch. It will get you in shape all around though in all categories. It’s mostly suited for athletes and such.Whats the difference?

Id reccomend you StrongLifts or Starting Strength either works if you want a traditional lifting program
But for how long should you do the programStarting strength is basically
Squats 5reps x 3sets
Bench 5reps x 3 sets or depending on the week OHP 5 reps x 3 sets
Dead lift 5reps x 3 sets
Then add other exercises like power clean and chin ups and adding wieght every week.here is a the website which goes into more detail https://startingstrength.com/get-started/programs Theres also a book and they also have a youtube channel explaining the lifts.
5x5 has an app on android and ios and guides you more and shows you how to do the exercises
It is basically the same just some other exercises like the barbell row and rep scheme is 5 reps and 5 sets
There both good programs for beginners in my opinion.There is also a thread which is in the best of the best section which goes into a push pull legs program.
