If I don’t eat at or close to my maintenance I get mega insomnia. If I’m even slightly hungry it can keep me up for hours until I cave in and pig out. I’d rather lose a day of caloric deficit than a night of sleep.

Makes it hard af to stay consistent with weight loss. It’s like my body is refusing to let me drop weight even tho I’m still around 15%. I carry a lot of fat in my face like a subhuman. I think I’d benefit a lot from dropping another ten pounds.

For a sleep supplement I take gorilla dream by MPMD but that doesn’t cut it if I’m hungry. Even when I was on ambien I’d sometimes fall asleep and then wake up hungry early in the morning.

Does anyone else experience this or have suggestions?

Sleep issues always are in my views the hardest in abstaining from anything. Pron aswell. Best remedy for the restless mind. Busting a juice abd eating carbs. Obviously fucking bs. Suffering man. Its the way to get anywhere. Fucking suxks. I say come uo with a strategy to limit the suffering but either eay inevitable

I never get hungry in the evening/overnight even if I have dinner at 3pm for some reason

You talking about bulimic or just eating so much you yak? Only made myself throw up deliberately once and I can stuff myself past maintenance and keep it down no problem

That's why I don't eat anything but protein all day and get the minimal amount of carbs I need right before bed to help me drift off peacefully

Problem with this is having enough energy for training and shit during the day. Maybe I’ll try Muh intermittent and have late lunch and late dinner. Idk if the meal timing will save me if still in deficit but good idea to try

If he packs on muscle, will be easier to maintain low fat.

If you need to eat at night, try fasting in the morning for as long as possible.

Ie eating window can be 2pm-8pm

Already got a bit of muscle. But yeah I agree. I hope with better meal scheduling instead of having dinner at 6 and trying to sleep after midnight I’ll have more success

I have a relatively small appetite at night, and even I don't fast 6hrs before sleep. Unless I have a really big meal

If u r sleeping after midnight u can easily bump last meal to 8 or 9pm

Kinda hyperbolic I usually eat later than that but sometimes I stay up later too. I haven’t even been trying to lose weight lately tho I just remembered this bc I had a small dinner so I couldn’t sleep

True I tend to eat pretty low carb without trying f to. Gotta start eating tons of rice

Don't sacrifice sleep for leanmaxxing tbh, u need good sleep to leanmax anyway.
Eat slow absorbing carbohydrates, I recommend a big bowl of oatmeal, and then consume a lot of protein to further slow down the absorption of those carbs, let's say 300-500grams of chicken breast in the same meal as the oatmeal. I have this for breakfast and I don't feel hungry for hours and hours

Eat more volume to stay full (add tons of veggies and beans to your meals and choose high volume carbs over dehydrated ones, e.g. potatoes, rice > bread, cornflakes), drink more water, have a glass of low fat milk with breakfast and dinner, eat a few whole eggs, get enough protein, don‘t eat low-carb, have your last meal closer to bed-time, intermittent fasting, first meal of the day not before (after)noon, trimethylglycine for better sleep

Dont purge its literally the most useless way to lose weight. Once the food is down your throat like 90% of the calories are used by the body so purging is basically useless. You will lose water weight on the scale but will gain body fat in the long run. Most people who become bulimic actually end up gaining weight lol

There are some legit sleep mixtures. I've recently bought one containing:

0.3mg melatonin(good dosage)
150mg GABA(good dosage, prevents tolerance because dosage is low)
L-theanine, Passionflower, Valerian, Magnesium, B6.

All of those are clinically proven to improve sleep quality/induce sleep.

I haven't tried it yet, but because of my success with melatonin, valerian and GABA it should be a solid mixture.

Also eating enough protein and being lean helps sleep quality a lot.

I tried it, didn't do it for me.

It depends per person of course. Some people lack GABA(Glycine increases GABA and has it's own effects), while some like me have more problems with rhythm(melatonin works well). The mixture I provided works for all.

I thought you'd be skinny and soft looking with no abs like me. Looks like 12% to me, if you have abs that defined leanmaxxing won't do much further for you
