Bimax yesterday

your facial convexity is not at 165 degrees

yes, it's another measurement. The bimax did a great job on fixxing asymmetry, short face syndrome and it also made me far less recessed but my face is still too convex, i'll maybe need an implant for my chin

Yeah, it's definetly an ascension despite the convexity. Just recover and reasses the results, and then you can worry about fixing it (chin implant, genio revision). Your good brah

I had Bimaxsurgery + genioplasty yesterday performed by Dr Dr Kater, Frankfurt am Main, Germany. I'm 17 and it went well, no nerves are botched and he told me the Plan was executed perfectly fine. In the pictures you can see 24h before and 24h after the surgery. He did a great job with my maxilla and mandible but the genioplasty is slightly underadvanced. My nose had a very big glowup but it'll all look different in 5 months i'm very bloated rn. What do yall think?
Done what most niggas here larp doing

HOW MUCH COST AND CAN YOU CUSTOMIZE IT

I think a persisting issue is the lack of facial convexity.
Based on the pics you have provided, your convexity before surgery was only ~150° ; after surgery, it has increased to ~157°. However, that is still outside the ideal range (165-170°) and may explain why some users think you've been under-advanced.
Note that these side profile pictures may not be ideal for an assessment, because you seem to be turning your head a bit too much away from the camera.

Your face with proper convexity (and a small rhino, while we're at it) :

Of course, easier said than done. My morph doesn't take into account your actual orthodontic/orthognathic needs and surgical limitations.

Wait until swelling has really subsided to reassess your results and what may be further improved or not.

Nice bro update when swelling goes down.

You measure convexity with glabella brocel
Both are valid ways to measure facial convexity. And their respective ideal ranges are quite similar (roughly between 165° and 175°).

If you have a prominent brow ridge the glabella method is better imo

There's no way this guy improved a point with that lmao

And front potentially no improvement but a wider nose.

Yeah it looks recessed tbh I told you before to not go to a german surgeon but you didn't listen of course
Dr Dr Kater my ass.

Your foto after surgery looks almost like the before foto of raffainis most recent result on insta

Obviously Raffaini is the goat, but it's a big stretch to suggest that before photo looks like OP's after lol.

Nice

But you got bimax before fixing your skin? That’s weird

okay, i see your point. It's not Dr Katers fault, that my mandible is still recessed, as i said: my bite was perfect before due to carmouflage braces, my mandible was more recessed than my maxilla tho -> that means, that you can only advance them the same or i'd have an underbite. My maxilla is perfect at 82 degrees, my mandible is still 2 degress retrognathic. My chin is ideal too. I understand, that CCW would have given me a bit more forward growth, but as i said im already had short face syndrome that's why Dr kater said he'd rather do a very minimal CW to fix my Short face syndrome. Realistically how much do you think my looks improved? I understand that you wouldn't say it was a lifechanging ascend but i'd definitely say that i went from around top 40% of 17 y/o to around Top 25% once the bloat is gone. Do you think that's ridicolous?
Wait? You didn’t decompensate the bite pre surgery? Holy moly 17 year old IQ mirin

I feel like you rushed into this shit and yeah you def got a subpar result.

Surgeon coulda had you moving like one of these:

i'll get the plates out in 4 months. i had braces for 3 years but they carmouflaged my bite.i didn't want to be insecure abt my recession and get 3 teeth pulled and wait another 2 years with braces. I think it's an okay result, i'm not recessed anymore and my short face syndrome is fixxed but i wouldn't consider it "downgrown"
