he suggested that a wrap around style for the next surgery would be much better in my case re jaw.. why the hell was this not offered the first time if he was the expert. its very easy to say that after the surgery is done. theres no room for error considering how much he bangs on about how precise he is and how much he trash talks other drs designs befoe the patient came to him. dont blame the patient for design he paid a "professional" for.

my previous implant wrapped further down the mandible and my old chin implant wrapped around almost touching the jaw. HE took that away and made the gap even bigger and blames me for being extreme. so much for not taking extreme cases anymore but is quite happy to do a orbital box osteotomy and a 20 peice lefort like its a god damn jigsaw puzzle. i cant even..

i had a previous jaw implant in there and due to its nature i was told by previous plastic surgeons i am able to accomodate a similar size because they acted as a placeholder and the tissues would allow for it. hence why the size is on the larger side. but he totally disregarded the shape and style, positioning and execution of it. and the cheeks... well i cant even go there. they were an absolute trainwreck.

fyi eppley did not do my jaw, although i wish he did. they were done over ten years ago by a dr who is now retired. my old cheek implants were done by eppley. but only semi custom made. and my god looking back they were a godsend compared to what giant gave me.

I also believe you were uninformed when it comes to the risk of infection. its not necessarily his fault if he took all the proper precautions, but it seems like he admitted that he didn't take the steps to mitigate the infection risk

you should have mentioned this in the post. this changes a lot if its true. if he's responsible for the placement ,then there's no questioning if its his fault or the surgeon's. if he diesnged and made sure they placed it where he wanted it

not that i know of. never had major issues with silastic implants. i didnt find titanium any better.

under some great lights, holding the face up and tight, sucking your neck in and a beauty filter it looks passable. but really cant go past a poor design, submental and cheek laxity and a deep labiomental fold.

due to to gigantic size and surface coverage of the cheeks insterting and removing them left me with midface laxity. there is no way any designer or dr would design a cheek implants that makes you look like madonna on a bad day. not to mention the major misplacement and ecoli infection. on the contrary because he disregarded the shape of my previous jaw implant my jaw now has laxity because a "smaller" less wrap around implant was placed. there was empty "dead space" now which collected fluid and led to the problems you see now. this is why i keep pointing out how important it was to keep the size if i was to change them. not for aesthetic reasons only. my tissues had accomodated for large implants for 10 years and he put a downgraded one in there and it simply wasnt enough to hold the tissues tight. now i am left with delfated cheeks, deflated jaw, and loose skin under my neck and jowling and a poor jawline compared to what i used to have. kinda like when you get breast implants and go smaller. and now that the fuckup has been done i am being labelled as being too extreme because i was assured everything will look better than my starting point. ive gone 5 steps backward. these are the things i was assured

1- new jaw will be exactly same size maybe even a little bigger if it can fit, and a much better contour - false
2- the new cheeks will have much more better defintion and is a higher cheek bone than dr eppleys (major false)
3- chin will be more masculine with definition and will get rid of the step off i had with previous genioplasty. somewhat true but false on the step off part. the step off is even worse when you look at the gap between the chin and jaw flaps.

these things blew out all the proportions of my face and compared to what i had my face as a whole has become more compact and smaller. not aesthetic traits a male should have. period.

are you able to write everything out in a document with screenshotted evidence for every claim? and then make the link shareable? if you really want to bring attention to this I think this is the best way to go about it. it would get shared everywhere if he was really in the wrong by a high margin

If a patient is “extreme”, (gaslighting deflecting tactic so the patient bears all responsibility, then the doctors don’t take that patient at consultation phase)

I agree, i feel very bad but i wonder how people follow random peoples reccomendations for such life changing surgerys so blindly, yes surgery can be sucessful however even the most experienced surgeons have caused multiple botched results. Its just not an industry thats at a level of quality assurance of which anyone should really trust for such surgerys at this time, as technology develops and surgery becomes much more reliable im sure it will become not only more trustworthy but also cheaper, but at this time it just doesnt seem that the risk is worth the reward, having a slightly better feature isnt worth the chance of having your whole future ruined. furthermore many surgeries cause health problems along with faded results in the future. The high price tag should be a warning that this practice is so risky not only to the patient but to the surgeons reputation, which is why there are so few who can or will provide the service for you.

Scars and asymmetry are like whatever, he looks tremendously better even with them, but it's very worrying that outer corners of his eyelids don't align with the eyes.
