Can a hyoid suspension make the jaw appear less downward grown?

I’ve been wondering if a change to the placement of the hyoid bone can tighten the jaw and make it look more angular from the side. The results I’ve seen have been encouraging

I wonder if a neck lift can have the same/better effect.

Hyoid suspension is very unreliable. If it is really just a submental fat + hyoid issue and not a jaw and/or chin issue you can get submental platysmal plication, which is a sort of necklift.

Well my mandible is slightly narrow, but the bigger concern is the shit downward grow which makes the submental fat visible below my chin. I’ll look into the platysmal plication though

Just check with a surgeon you are not actually recessed, a lot of people who think they have a shit submental and low hyoid just have shit forward growth leading to submental fat not being pulled forward by mandible and chin

Most people are recessed. My mandible is long it’s just downward swung and I have a tall chin
