is it possible to lose bone mass instead of gain when osteoclasts are greater than osteoblasts?
 
No as bonesmashing has no effect at all, you're just hurting yourself because you lack common sense.

basic osteogenesis - if osteoclast activity surpasses osteoblast activity, net bone loss occurs.
nothing to do with bonesmashing
