Can you condition yourself to speak in a deeper voice?

I don't know whether or not the possibility of altering one's voice to a more suitable voice preferably a deeper voice is feasible or not but if so what is the methodology I should do in order for me to get this feature?

Every time I take my pace and speak more slowly and analytically I get a more medium tone of pitch and when I really try it sounds somewhat deep but not very clear( has that reverberative effect if I remember the name again). If I speak like how I speak with a peer it sounds like shit. Help?
