Cure For Oneitis

Years ago when I was younger I had a oneitis for a very short while which immediately prompted me to go figure it out.Conclusion I came to was:

It was all in my head.I just felt like having someone “special” in my life so I just chose some girl who wasn’t that special and gave her a personality in my mind and then convinced myself this was “it”.

So to solve oneitis just understand it’s a random girl you made into something special.It’s your doing basically.You need to put effort into explaining yourself she is just some girl,you are in need of a relationship and if it wasn’t her you’d just find some other girl.

So no point going around like Joe from You thinking anything female is the ‘one’.
