Yes from Anastehesia but after surgery your not have a lot of pain. It gets worse after first day. And then after 3 days to a week it gets better again. It’s just like getting an infect. At first your okay but then your are like wtf

[On the other side I look at the planning and I have a feeling that even 18mm pogonion is too little to achieve proper,long jawline.
Maybe my expectations are too high but for example I look at this "proto-planning" done by C; where he rotated everywhing and combined it somehow to get chin in line with nasal root(41.4mm) and I am looking at black line and I am like "damm it actually look good and not like chimp"]

I think they might be stingier with the painkillers than elsewhere. I think I had to tell them I was in pain like 4 different times before I got shit that actually worked and even then it wasn't anything great.

I guess I know for what it was. When you get a lot of ccw rotation and Maxilla advacment your nose is pushed forward. Therefore he need to make it straight with rib cartilage

He said it was because my nose was so fucked up from my rhino that he was afraid it was going to move in some odd way.

8 degrees CCW rotation via posterior downgraft, 7.6mm maxilla advancement, 12mm mandible advancement (probably ~18mm after genio). I have a silicone chin implant that is throwing off the projected soft tissue result. I'm also getting genio, but I think he's just going to improvise that, maybe because of the chin implant issue.

No. He put a splint on my nose so it wouldn't move in a way that was undesirable. He said something like "You have a severe deformity. None of the cartilage in your nose is attached to the bone." So that's why he did that. I had a botched rhino 20 years ago. I suspected the bimax would fuck it up rather than supporting it because my nose tip is all hard, so instead of pushing it up it would end up getting pushed to one side. I'm getting revision ASAP though.

Yeah. He put braces on my teeth rather than screwing those posts in. But he said my bite was good enough that he could wait until Monday, which is when I'm being discharged. I expect that to suck because my nose is completely clogged and it's hard enough to swallow as it is.

In my case for example I dont need any orthodontics, before or after, since Im sleep apnea w/ class 1, I am not sure about OP

Yeah, I was actually going to say something to him about my nose because he said earlier that he thought he could give it more support, but I suspected that wouldn't work. I still think it's going to look fucked up when this thing comes off.

Just FYI, I'm glad I did not have any other procedures along with this. It would suck to be dealing with additional shit. Although I can also imagine having recovered and thinking the opposite.

Yeah I ended up using sms-man to get a Turkish number but I had to add $10 usd in credit at the start. There is probably better ways. Not sure if VoIP is accepted

My bite was good because I had braces as a kid, so I did not have to have orthodontics beforehand. My surgeon recommended I get them after, I guess to fine-tune my bite, but I need them anyway to straighten my teeth.
