Looking into this, any procedure thats done with the patient still fully awake interests me a lot into DIYing it.

How possible would this to do DIY? I have yet to do any significant research and thought of this literally a few minutes ago, just trying to get first impressions.

Many people have DIY'd it but the results are shit 99% of the time and if you hit something inside your face on accident you could cause severe bruising, infection, etc.

Mono threads are doable, Barbed threads are significantly harder to do on ur own.
I'd just go to the professional's.

The effects from this don't last IIRC.
Otherwise I'd DIY.

Of course they're temporary but most non invasive procedures are

I don't see how this wouldn't be worth it; especially for lips?

I'm studying this topic and plan to order a thread soon to lift the tip of my nose.
I know that this procedure is not complicated and women over 40 love it on reddit. I also heard that these threads are the future of cosmetology

If you try it, I suggest starting near the temples, as it makes it easier to control the tension and anchor points. Oh! Also, if you get a blunt needle get a pilot needle you don't need one for sharp needles.

Learn about the different threads (smooth, twist etc), watch vids of professionals doing it, learn about the SMAS layers and the vascular map in the face.

infection is nearly impossible for threads unless you buy them from mumbai or are mentally retarded

Also I have 14-16 in each smile line rn but I'm also gonna place some PCL threads there and hopefully aqualyx sometime soon because I'm an absolute smile line cel.
This is a before pic before I placed any PDOS
