An occipital bun, also called occipital spurs, occipital knob, chignon hooks or inion hooks, is a prominent bulge or projection of the occipital bone at the back of the skull. It is important in scientific descriptions of classic Neanderthal crania.
Do you guys have it? It's mostly seen in Northern Europeans. It's a Neanderthal trait (alongside blonde/red hair, blue eyes, and freckles, unlike Homo Sapiens), and allows for more space for the brain. Neanderthals were more intelligent and less violent than homo-sapiens, however, they are much more introverted and have trouble communicating between each other - that's what made them die out in the first place,
And if you have it, is it symmetric and in the center? If not, your sphenoid bone is probably out of place - and as you know it, that fucks up the entire craniofacial development.
